Not all dealerships have the same sales goals. Some make a handful of inventory sales in a month. Others expand into parts and service and open new locations to fuel their growing business. No matter what your dealership's goals are, you will still need dealership management software that can effectively track and support all the cash flow into your business.

EverLogic's point-of-sale module gives owners better control of the sales coming from all of the dealership's departments. You will be able to track all your sales coming from your various departments, you can print out your barcodes, and take credit and debit card payments with the industry-leading Global Payments.

Using Global Payments for credit/debit transactions

EverLogic allows you to record payments with cash, check, through an internal deal, or with a gift certificate. However, because most of your transactions will likely be with a credit or debit card, we made sure to integrate with industry-leading partner Global Payments.

If you decide to use our dealership management system's integration with Global Payments, you must have either the Genius MX-915 or the MX-925 card terminal. You will most likely spend about $700-$800 for a new device, though you can probably save some money on the used market.

When you scan a card with the Genius device, all the necessary information will go into EverLogic to record the transaction. You will later be able to send the transaction directly from the software to QuickBooks. If for whatever reason the card reader has problems processing the card, you can manually enter the credit card data into EverLogic.

Printing Barcodes

If you have a parts department, barcodes will go a long way to keeping your inventory organized and save you hours of time. With EverLogic's dealership management software, you can create a barcode for any part and then be able to scan it for a sale.

EverLogic can pair with any Bluetooth scanner as well as the Honeywell Ms9540 USB. No matter what you decide to use, you should expect to pay around $200 for a good system.

With EverLogic, barcodes are automatically created when you add a part to the system. To print it, all you have to do is search for the part in the Print Barcodes section. Once you highlight the part, you just need to click print. The barcode will reflect any changes you make to the price, including if the part goes on clearance.

Other equipment you might need for point of sale in EverLogic are cash drawers (APG CD554 or APG S10) and receipt printers (Epson TM-T88 Series or Therma Mark RPT 3.125-STD).

Conclusion

EverLogic has all the necessary features you should expect from any dealership management system. With Global Payments accepting credit cards, organized digital cash drawers, and the ability to print barcodes, you have several conveniences that can save you tons of time and increase your dealership's efficiency.
