What do merchant services mean for your dealership?
If you were to use EverLogic without Global Payments, you would need to process your customer's payment through a stand-alone device. After, you need to key the card information manually into EverLogic for your accounting. This process can take a few minutes rather than a few seconds.

Additionally, when you manually enter card information, there's the possibility that there could be discrepancies. These discrepancies can lead to further confusion in your accounting. This is why we strongly encourage our customers to get Global Payments along with EverLogic.
Global Payments also provides detailed reports that will help you find any discrepancies quickly rather than trying to track down the issue yourself with no guide.

Ultimately, like any other integration, Global Payments is a time saver. The more time you save, the more money you will save as well.
What are all my options and what will it cost me?
Yes, believe it or not, you have another option. Let’s list the three options you have for merchant service/payment processing.
- Partner with EverLogic’s longstanding partner, Global Payments Integrated. *Your Global Payment Advisor will discuss your service fee. Based on our customer’s experience, GPI works hard to match your existing provider’s fees.
- Keep your existing merchant service provider. *You will continue to pay the same fee you have been paying
- Use GPI as a “gateway” and keep your existing merchant service provider. *Your GPI advisor will discuss the fee for this service.
What does, use GPI as a “gateway” mean for merchant services?
The term “gateway” as defined by Techopedia, is a data communication device that provides a remote network with connectivity to a host network. In other words, you can keep your existing merchant service provider and pay GPI a fee to integrate with EverLogic DMS.

What you need to know about Global Payments Integrated?
EverLogic has partnered with Global Payments Integrated since our inception, though, they have not always been called Global Payments Integrated. We started our partnership with Cayan. Cayan was then acquired by TSYS, which stands for Total System Services and now TSYS is a Global Payments Company. TSYS merged with Global Payments Inc., a leading worldwide provider of payments technology and software solutions, in 2019.

Under the Global Payments brand, the Integrated channel that operates under OpenEdge has been combined with the integrated channel of TSYS resulting in the formation of one of the industry’s most established and innovative providers of payment products and services. This new company has been rebranded as Global Payments Integrated. If you would like to see some customer testimonials from GPI, click here.
Conclusion
It's understandable if you are not ready to move to Global Payments. We believe our customers should be allowed to use whatever they think helps their business be the most successful, regardless of whether we integrate with that provider.
However, because we do integrate with Global Payments Integrated, we do highly recommend them when you sign up for EverLogic. You can quickly process your payments in a matter of seconds rather than run the card with a different provider and then manually key the transaction into the software.
